Q: Is this suitable to use as a nightlight in a tent or is it too bright?

I think even on the low setting it might be too bright. If it was partly covered it would be OK as it is a soft glow.

Q: Are these waterproof ?

I am not sure, they don’t look waterproof, and you need to screw them closed so probably not.

Q: Can these stand on a table

they can't really stand up they're not designed for that, but they will lay on a table. they're great for holding, clipping to ropes or hooks and even on your clothing

Q: How long do the batteries last (for each mode if anyone has tested) ? Thanks.

Got to be honest I've never tested them, they lasted an entire evening on full recently when I had a power cut
