Q: Is this a checkbook wallet because the pictures don't show checks in it where would I put my checks?

Because there are sections on each side of the wallet, one could put a checkbook on one side while using the other side for currency. Note: this is a rather thick and heavy wallet to begin with. The addition of a checkbook might make it cumbersome.

Q: Does this fit a US passport?

It is a little small for passport.

Looks good but could do without the logo on the front. Everything seems to fit well and stay in place. Expanding pocket was a little bigger than expected, but it should work. Texture and color work together nicely.
