I am stunned by the tonal quality of it.
I have the sm58, pga mics for decades and some vocal dynamic mics too. I compared them side by side...and i can clearly tell you that this mic is studio ready. i have EQed it to an extreme, still it sounds warm n full. Its a great vocal Mic and true to the tone of your voice. Buy it with eyes closed. You will never regret it. Its a mic for life, if you are a true performer.Beware,if your singer is bad, then it has the power to tell you that too. Thats the magic of it. i hope every music nerds like me understand it.

Excellent mic!
Amazing sounding mic. Definitely better than most budget condensers. A lovely, full low end and beautiful, shimmering highs! Very silent too. I've had the Behringer c1 and Samson CO2 and this is incomparably better than those. Used it mainly for acoustic guitar. Came in perfect condition, fair enough price. If you are looking for a budget condenser mic within 15 k, I would suggest this, rather than those. This does however need some level of acoustic treatment. I experienced some phase cancellation due to sound bouncing off the tiled floor and ceiling. Using a carpet for the floor and something for the ceiling will make this sound full as it should. Otherwise it might sound a little thin. Also a preamp with a decent amount of gain is recommended as the output while not too low is a bit on the lower side, being a dynamic mic.

Decent dynamic mic , for vocal
Getting better vocal tracking than Sennheiser 845 or Shure SM 58, Much bright and open sounding

Best mic in it’s price bracket, period
Loved this one, it sounds very balanced and has a superb midrange. Almost no handling noise and top notch look and feel.Just go for it. Easily better than the ‘sure’ thing, the 58 one. 💀

Blown away by the quality-to-price factor
I am a die-hard Shure Beta 58a and SM58 devotee, along with their 57 counterparts. When I heard buzz in Shure forums actually praising something non-Shure, it got my attention. Now that I've had this mic for a few months, I can see why. The sound is brighter than an SM58 with the Beta-style mid-presence boost. There's no noticeable over-boosted proximity effect lows, so you can get right on top of this thing and it'll reward you for it.So this feels a lot like Bets 58a results for an SM58 price. The only unknown is durability. You have to do something egregiously stupid to destroy an SM58, and they last like that over many many decades. Whether the V7 is so durable remains to be seen. For now, I consider this mic to be a performance bargain. It has a permanent place in the practice studio and will see some recording duty shortly.

Sexy as heck in Chrome, and sounds great too!
Se’s V7’s are our go-to vocal mic replacing the venerable SM58 and similar mics. More gain before feedback and a slight mid-high boost … what’s not to ❤️

Price point is spot on for this microphone
I purchased this for home use and as a backup for the wireless I use with my band. Works great, sound quality is better than expected, and build quality is excellent. Don't hesitate to make this purchase.

Sounds great regardless of handling noise
My now default go-to microphone to mic up any instrument (or vocalist for that matter) is the sE V2 Switch. I find the sound of the microphone natural, and easy to work with when mixing. It gives me a really transparent sound that is really close to what the instrument would sound like in the room with me. The background noise rejection is really good on this microphone, it gives instruments the proper isolation. The build quality of this microphone is really amazing. Not to mention the price, the price of this microphone is genuinely a steal. For the price it should not sound this good and feel good to hold and use. While the handling noise is very apparent. It can be mitigated through careful mic handling. Since the vocalists I work with are careful with how they handle their mics, I'm pretty confident in giving them this microphone. And for miking instruments, since it stays on the stand full time the said handling noise is the least of my worries in that department. For specific use cases, I used the V2 to mic up our guitar cabs, bass cab, saxophone, and brass section. Our lead guitarist told me that he’d never heard his guitar sound so rich and full of detail up until we used the V2 with his guitar cab. For vocals, we use this for tracking vocals for acoustic covers of hymns in our church. One of our lead singers also use this as their main microphone for singing live.
