Rothco SWAT Tec Single Lens Tactical Goggle

These goggles are much better quality than I expected. They are very comfortable to wear and are padded, which also allow room for venting moisture and steam from inside the goggles, so your eyes can breathe, and also prevent fogging up. These goggles, also, are very snazzy looking, and also look to have blackened lens when in reality allow the wearer clear undistorted views. Great for the price.

Finally! Goggles that don't fog up! I've gone through 2 goggles already. One was fairly cheap, but it fogged up like crazy. Second one was actually a Rothco goggle, I think they were the ventecs. It didn't fog as quickly or as much BUT they did eventually and made shooting impossible. But these... these goggles work! They're very well vented and the only fog I ever saw was when I was sitting still for long periods of time. The fog would clear up as soon as I was moving again. Mind you that happens with just about any pair of goggles you'll usually find. The vents need movement to clear the fog. These are a bit big but that's not always a bad thing. More protection is okay with me. Plus I'm a small person so it's going to be different for other people. Anyway, I highly recommend them. They look cool, the lenses filter out the sun marvelously, and they fit. Most importantly, they don't fog.

I bought these for airsoft, there for I'll rate from the airsoft perspective.The material is sturdy all around, and the goggles are a comfortable fit. I've had very little fogging in extreem scenario's, in fact these are the best antifog goggles I own and I have a few.The lens is a bit too dark for me, makes it harder to spot people with camo hiding out in the woods/between branches. I wish they offered clear or yellow colors. Also if you are wearing a face mask, the bottom of the goggles will overlaps the mask a bit. Tried it with two different masks.All around these are good goggle to have, as secondary or primary, depending on the amount of sun light.

Finally, a smaller tinted pair of goggles for airsoft.these are GREAT! I wear over lower face grid mask, and they fit great. the tint is just enough, really light from inside, but youre blacked out looking from the outside. cool.Not like all the big flat goggles. rounded lenses, excellent view all ways, and lots of big vents top an bottom,I can even see out the bottom vents.rounded lenses will bounce BB's off, and strap is quality. maintains its stretch-ablility.,and strap is thinner. helps when you get all rigged up with like 5 things on your head an all have straps.I put these on last over lower face mask, balaclava, and put the strap outside over the helmet. fits an stays perfect, and never fogs at all.no more of those big flat goggles!- Go SWAT!

Too heavily tinted to wear indoors or in heavily shaded areas. Peripheral vision is somewhat obscured on sides and above. Foam around the goggles is kinda thin/cheap/airy, not spongy like you would expect (not much to them and this foam seems like it would wear out or degrade with time/elements).It doesn't fit my face well, not comfortable for me. They are quite large and obvious. They protrude from the face much further than I thought they would, due to the rather large (rectangular/slanted holes) vents that are all around the top and bottom of the frame, they must be the "anti-fogging" mechanism. Air can really circulate through these goggles. Smoke/fine dust might still get in through these large air holes in vents. The actual lense is nice, and it looks sturdy.I wanted these because I'm tired of my shooting glasses (they are scratched up and fog easily), and to use them for projects like cutting wood where there is alot of saw dust in the air or flying particles, like weed eating, grinding metal... These still don't fit the bill for what I needed (mostly because they are tinted too dark and our property has a butt load of dense tall trees). I am considering returning them also because I don't think the foam will last.

If you are a serious airsofter, do not buy these goggles, any claims that they don't fog up are from folks using them in arid conditions, found west of the mississippi river . I purchased these last minute, to use in a major tournament held in NC, aside from the photo being a little misleading(these look like ski-goggles, not tactical "glasses")they were worthless, I had to rip the foam off the vents, and the foam around the frame, and ended up wearing them ON my helmet, hanging over my eyes like a visor. They are strong enough to keep bbs out, however they are no good if you plan to move around and generate any level of body heat.Spend more money if you enjoy being able to see on the field...these might do the trick if you are a "chairsofter", i.e. a stationary camper..

These goggles are very bad.Foam lines the inside against your face, and flakes off & gets into your eyes.The plastic is very cheap, and would not last 2 weeks of use.These are marketed as "Tactical" googles, but they are nothing more than a halloween mask.I will be returning these today.
