Sorry that metric M6 is out of stock now. This is the standard 1/4-20 threads insert nuts, work with 1/4-20 bolts. M6 and 1/4-20 have the same dia and length, except the threads are different.

Will these work well in plywood (without using epoxy)? Would be using these as 1/4" lag screw replacements on desk legs.

Yes they would work fine. 8 hold in my 100 pound sub while its playing. Plenty strong in plywood

What are they made of? I need some that a magnet will stick to.

The threaded inserts are made of carbon steel, magnets stick to carbon steel.

Can you get 1/4-20x10 non flanged brass wood inserts?? maybe 150 pieces
