Q: There are two speakers: top and bottom. Wouldn't it kill the sound from the botton speaker if I place it on the floor under a seat?

Add four 3/4 inch plywood or pine blocks under the corners of the speaker, when installing it.That added space below, does kick up the bass.

Yes, only one is enought and it's very flat and should fit almost any seat, but for me has no good bass frecuency response for low frecuencies i expected more from pioneer. :(
