Q: Dimensions? I don't need size of the package. What are the measurements of the plate?

I mistakenly trusted the answer from the manufacturer, elago, but it certainly is not 6" in diameter. It's 5", which is useless to me, as it only covers 80% of the unpainted area behind my old thermostat.

The 2 holes line up with the nest thermostat back plating which is pictured. You can see here in this video.

Q: Can this mount be placed on the wall reversed?

I don't think so as the Thermostat needs to be flush to plug into base in wall.

Q: Does this match ‘sand’ color of the Nest? The description says ‘sand pink’.

Yeah, I double checked and I think that's the only pink color for that type of thermostat.
