This is a great for entry level people and you say goodbye to all those glues and possible leaks - all you need to do is just cut and push in and the work is done. Never and any issues and super recommended for folks who needs it. Hope the price could drop down, it wasn't so expensive before covid.

Sharkbite is the way to go. Forget the old torch, flux, and solder method. Sharkbite is simple, easy, and leak-free. Just make sure you use some emery paper and a deburring tool.

Trying to solder wet plumbing is really hard to do properly and using a torch runs the risk of setting your house on fire. These fittings solve those problems. The fittings are well made and easy to use, just make sure to follow directions. A clean cut (don't use a hack saw!) and a clean pipe is vital to prevent leaks. I watched some videos on-line to avoid making mistakes. The tools that they sell for de-burring the cut, marking the installation depth, and undoing the fitting if necessary don't cost very much and I highly recommend that you buy them.

Work as expected, no leaks easy quick install.
