Hi. i purchased this head to replace the stock head that came with my dewalt flexvolt 60v. do i need to include any of the spacers when securing?

I didn't need to use anything. The new head just screwed right onto my Dewalt Flexvolt trimmer.

does this fir any sraight shaft trimmer I have and echo trimmer from home depot

Yes it fits straight shaft trimmers, the gold colored arbor included fits SRM trimmers.

will it fit a hitachi

It should fit I own a old weed eater or green machine and they give you plenty of spare parts to fit different models

Will this work with a 80v kobalt model #kst 2580-06?

It does fit KST-140XB perfectly. Don’t need any of the adapter the husqvarna heads comes with. Just stick a screwdriver in the small hole on the trimmer end to stop the head from spinning and then unscrew the old head and put the husqvarna on.
