Really good masher, sturdy, does the job

Better than expected, bigger irl than it looks in the image.Didn't use it yet but it's what I wanted; an actual masher.Much better than the snake wire ones; if you want some real mashed potatoes.Can't stand having clumps in my potatoes; should be as smooth as ice cream; for me anyways.Update: This thing mashes very well, takes less time to get them creamy than the ones with bigger holes.Not the most comfortable design but it gets the job done and then some.

It's a very sturdy, no nonsense, no gimmicks like a folding head, or whatever. It's a solid, easy to clean potato masher. MUCH better than our old "sheet metal" model that we used for years, and far beyond any of the recent chinese offerings. We love it, as much as I love mashed potatoes!!

We were a little concerned that we may not love the mashing pattern (we have stuck with the square pattern for decades), but we love this masher. The handle is easy to grip, wide, and silicone padded (my mother is arthritic, so this is especially helpful), the shape and thickness of the steel make it very sturdy, and we love the added bonus of the built in spatula along the side to help get every last bit. I don't expect to have to replace this one, but would definitely recommend it.
