We were looking for a very specific gym mat. Most gym mats at a larger size have a standard of 7mm thickness. But we were looking for something thicker than that for when we have to do floor exercises and need to be on our knees. Our choices were very limited. We were lucky to find this mat that was a tad thicker but also relatively large so that we could fit our home gym on it and have enough room to move without stepping off the mat.I’ve been happy with it. It’s very durable as we move a bench around the mat repeatedly and I like that it doesn’t slide about and has some cushion when you stand on it.

I have had this mat for over a month and used it daily and sometimes more than once a day.CONS: The top of the mat isn't completely slip proof and while it is cushioned in comfort it is too soft. This make being in a kneeling position painful at times because it literally feels like your knee is on the hard floor. These were two of the main factors for buying this mat because i can't seem to find a mat that doesn't give in to the pressure. This one does.PROS: It's very large, durable, and great for meditative purposes. I usually lay flat when I meditate and this has been great for being able to lay flat in arm and legs spread out without touching the floor.I personally could have kept my money and purchased a mat that was more firm. Now I am looking for another mat because while this is large, if I have to pad it with my old yoga mat that was $20 bucks from Wal-Mart than I might as well just use the old yoga mat which was just the same as this one but just the regular small size. I need a firm mat that won't make me feel like I'm doing yoga on a hardwood floor.

I really shopped around for finding the right sized mat for my space. I like that they offer a variety of sizes.+ Easy set up - place heavy objects on each corner of the mat overnight before first use+ Arrived in perfect condition, no tears or creases that didn't resolve themselves after unpacking+ Comes with storage straps if you plan on keeping this rolled up in between using it+ The thickness was just what I needed for pilates, stretching and light weight work+ Easy to clean & dries quickly- Slight odor when you first unpack it but it goes away in a day or two- If you're looking to lift heavy weights or olympic lifting this mat is more squishy than sturdy

This is such a durable and well made workout mat. We use this for weight lifting, yoga, HIIT, and dance cardio. It is so versatile! There is absolutely no slippage whatsoever, and there is never any ripping or tearing. Even when we do jumping or other high intensity workouts, the give and cushion is fantastic. We know our downstairs neighbors quite well, and they say they can never hear us even during late night workouts!

normal yoga mats are just too small for me as a 6 ft 2 dude. They are too narrow and don't allow for the type of movement and stretching that I like.This mat has changed the game. I spent 30 minutes a day just stretching in front of the TV chillin' out. I also play with my dog on/around the mat and it is holding up well.The blue color is great, this mat has exceeded my expectations and I would recommend it!

I've had this mat for a little over two years and used it anywhere from 3-8x/month for home workouts. Now, to be fair they do say this mat is to be used for yoga/Pilates and I have been using it for more strength training and HIIT type workouts but the mat is falling apart. For about the last 8-10 months every time I use the mat it sheds little black pieces all over. It's gotten worse over time to the point where now it isn't even worth using because I spend an additional 5-10 minutes cleaning up the mat after using it and putting it away. I am currently in the market for a new larger mat and I wouldn't spend my money on this one again.
