Q: Hello, would this work on food, such as cake icing? Like if I were to make green icing then add this to it would it work? And is it edible?

HI, we offer a cornstarch powder based product for that on our website. This product would not work well for the application and I don't think would mix well.

Q: Is this dye sutible for toilet tank leak testing/detection?

Hello, Yes it is but I would use our green, red, or invisible blue color that would stand out more for leak detection. If you search GLO Effex on Amazon it will list the other colors we have.

Q: Will this dye mix evenly into a 2-part resin? I'm looking to make solid resin pieces that are purple in normal light and which fluoresce purple in UV

Hi, The dye needs to be diluted into another medium before it will glow. Too concentrated and it will not work. but in normal light once diluted it would be more of a light purple. This may work but would need to be tested.

Q: Is this safe to use in a swimming pool ?

Yes with the amount that would be used, but the chlorine and filtration in the pool would quickly neutralize it.
