Super lightweight but super sharp
Not too thrilled with how lightweight these knives are, but that was expected. Also expected was the super sharp blades. Not certain how long the blades will hold their edge, nor if they will allow me to sharpen them in my Chef's Choice diamond wheel knife sharpening machine, which is essential. If I am unable to resharpen them when/if they get dull, these will essentially be disposable knives -- too expensive and not an eco-friendly solution for my needs. But after all that negativity, so far, they are performing wonderfully and I'm quite pleased with the value. Just a little light in the weight department I mentioned. If only I was also a little light in the weight department.... :-)

Dull and splintery
The media could not be loaded. (I got the 4 piece set they call "beige")I searched for 2 inch paring knives and this is what I found.I got these because I have stupidly short fingers that make using even "small" knives awkward for tasks like hulling strawberries or removing bad spots from potatoes. The blades feel weird and textured. They're also very thin and dull. They have a very pronounced bur the blades.I could press my finger against the blades and not get cut.The handles have splinters and don't look the same on each knife.I washed one and the handle faded, now it's lighter than the others.I sat it down while it was wet so I could find a towel to dry it with and the handle left brown water were it was.The one with the shortest blade it somewhat difficult to use because the cutting edge doesn't go all the way to the handle, it's interrupted by the metal the blade is made of and extends from.Because of the metal being so thin and the handle bulky by comparison, I can't just get a grip on it closer to the blade. They cut through kiwi okay, but I wouldn't use them on something firm like sweet potatoes because the blades are way too thin.
