Great daypack
Great daypack! It’s light, a good size, durable and I love the colour. Osprey is known for its quality and this pack really is well made. I was surprised to be able to buy for such a good price. If I were to be really picky, I wish it had trekking pole storage but it’s not the end of the world.

Good design, plenty of pockets, a quality product.
Good quality. Plenty of useful pockets and nice features. Comfortable, easily adjustable.Easy to fit lots in but still a compact size and design.

Almost perfect.
Positives:1. This is the most comfortable rucksack I have ever used.2. The back ventilation is excellent. It is not clear from the photos but the ventilation panel is deeply corrugated to allow a good cross-flow of air.3. The straps are ideally spaced apart and hold the sack steady without needing to be too tight.4. The main pockets are useful sizes and easily accessed with decent zips but the small zipped pocket is rather narrow for my man-size hands.Negatives:1. There is no way of attaching anything that is tucked into the 'drop-in' pocket. That is a shame because it would be ideal for a small camera if there was a safety clip for it. I may insert some eyelets.2. There is no pen/pencil slot.3. The pouches in the secondary section are too floppy to hold anything securely. An elastic top would have helped.4. There are no loops or other fixings on the outside to attach any extra items. I may insert some eyelets.5. There is no obvious place for a personal music player - those floppy pouches are not secure enough for an expensive player.6. There is no obvious way to attach accessories to the shoulder straps for quick access. Osprey do make a pouch but it is £18ish for a tiny little pouch barely big enough for a phone.7. There are no elastic straps and no way to fit any. I may insert some eyelets.Despite the negatives it is still an excellent backpack. I am delighted with it and am sure I will gradually find ways around its drawbacks.

If it seems too good to be true.....
I bought this backpack for a 15 day trip to Europe. I needed a bag to keep all my stuff together as I get through airports, go sightseeing in busy places and clamber on and off coaches. This pack fits the bill. It holds my camera bag, waterproof jacket, warm jacket, iPad and has enough organiser pockets for smaller items without provoking endless obsessing about where to put things. It fits me well (5'4" female) and has a slim but expandable profile. It does have a lot of dangling straps that I'll want to tuck away somehow. It was £10 cheaper than on the Osprey website, and when I placed it in the basket a further 20% promotion appeared. It took me a while to realise it had a defect. The ends of the waist strap, which had been folded over and stitched, were too thick to pass through the slots of the buckle. The very tips had been shoved into the buckle so it looked OK, but the strap could not be tightened. My partner looked at me scornfully and attempted to push, pull, force the strap through. No joy.In the end I used a stitch ripper to make the strap one layer thick, and the straps passed through the buckle. The ends of the straps had already been singed, so I don't think they will fray. I must say, the thread was tough and there were at least two rows of stitches, so it bodes well for the durability of the bag.My message to you: if your bag has this defect, just get amazon or Osprey to replace it.

Multipurpose backpack
I was worried this bag might have been too big for everyday use, but it is actually a perfect size. I allows me to put my water bottle and umbrella in the side pockets. There are 3 zip pockets of varying size:The pocket at the from is the smallest and can house small items, potentially a phone if you’re at the gym, but I use it to put pens in.The next zip pocket is of a medium size and contains two smaller pockets in which you can put your keys into it (there is also a red clip to keep them extra safe) and again you can put other items, it fits a book in it perfectly. The back zip pocket is the main part of the bag, there is a padded laptop sleeve and then a bigger part where you can store clothing, and other larger items.Behind the small zip pocket is a sleeve you can put items in you aren’t too fussed about, maybe pens, sanitiser, etc.The backpack has a padded back to sculpt with your back contours, padded shoulder straps which are adjustable, and there is also a sternum clip and a removal waist clip if you are hiking, running, or cycling.Overall a great backpack that I’ll use for everyday purposes, but it would also be suitable for outdoor pursuits and travelling due to its waterproof fabric. If you found this review helpful, please consider giving it a like / thumbs up. Thank you.

Very comfortable
I wasn’t sure if I’d like the red but was pleasantly surprised. It’s not bright, it’s a lovely deep red. The quality of the bag feels good but most importantly it’s comfortable. I don’t know how they’ve done it but somehow the shoulder steps just sit right. The attention to detail is good too, the zippers feel great. My new favourite backpack.
