I bought this to use in sales presentations for a pet company. I sat in my back of my car and used it for demonstration for dog boots. It’s a charming dog and it has an interesting expression. That’s what the review is really about. The quality is good but the dog is making the face that a dog makes only when you’re scratching someplace where there’s a hot button you know you’ve hit gold. Somehow they captured that so it’s a true piece of art away. Not sure if child would understand it, but they should….it should be explained to them…. And demonstrated…. if you just scratch the dog like you would under the neck the expression comes alive. Very well done.

My daughter used this as a prop for her Cruella de Vil costume, and it was absolutely perfect! So many people thought it was a real dog and couldn’t stop talking about it. I’ll admit, I was a little hesitant about the price at first, but once it arrived, I could see it was totally worth it. The quality and realistic look made her whole costume stand out.

I ordered four large, stuffed animals, for four granddaughters for Christmas. All are Melissa & Doug, which never disappoints as to quality. The Dalmatian has the most realistic-looking head and face, and this Nana is going to have a hard time giving it up, lol!

I bought this for my son who is a firefighter… for his fire house. It sets in the office where you can see him through the window. Everyone comments on when did they get the dalmation for the fire house….. and if they’re not told he’s stuffed they would never know.

I wanted Something cute outside my apartment door to camouflage the water pipe by my door. He gets many compliments!

While a little different it was a birthday gift for my Daughter (33 years) to replace the original one from Disney World when she was 6. Old one was put together many times by me and my wife.

It feels like good quality. I recommend.
