Works as it should
Wired inline with a light switch in my camper. Works like a charm. Removed plate and installed in a switch blank.

Works very well with strip lights
I went on a limb purchasing this, hoping to install in parallel with a cheap 12 V sticky back LED strip that I attached underneath the awning of my camper. When it is on, it is too bright and when it is off, it is too dark. I needed something in between. The LED strip says it will not work with a dimmer. This is a pulse width module dimmer versus a resistor type of dimmer so in theory, it should work, Viola it does. My switching mechanism to turn it on and off, runs off of a Bluetooth module connected to my solar panel inverter. One time I somehow turned it on when the camper was in storage, draining the battery. The switch has a detent position for the off position so it remains off all the time just in case it gets switched on by accident. It is very easy to turn it all the way down where I can still see around the camper and I’m only drawing 1 watt. At 10 W, almost one amp, I flood the entire campsite with light, which is seldom used that bright. It comes with a small panel and a couple screws to mount. I found it very easy to mount and wire in series with the light.

Unsatisfied
Failed after installation. Would not recommend for more than one light fixture, but I’m not sure if it would work with one light fixture.

Works well. But very short.
0 to ~75k ohm. Ran my COB LED’s strip lights smoothly with nominal flicker.Cons:The post is way too short even without using the metal mounting plate. This was installed into the dash of a boat. It’s about 3/16 to 1/4” thick plastic w/ fiberglass reinforcement behind. The post’s threads would not even poke through the dashboard for the nut to grip.Fortunately, the mounting nut has a side w/ a circular head with threads and I was able to use a step bit, after drilling a 15/64th hole, for the dimmer’s post to poke through. I wend a couple mm deeper with the next size on the step bit and the nut’s circular side was able to countersink into the larger part of the hole and grab some threads on the post of the dimmer knob. But, then the knob would doing because, again, the post is way too short even short. So, I had to replace the knob w/ something I had lying around. In the proper application, it would be very good.

Excellent results, Good product description
I feel the product description is very accurate - it's what helped me decide that this product would work for me; and it did - perfectly. I installed this in a Sunset Park RV, model Sunray 109 compact camping trailer, hoping to tone down the interior lights. The interior lights are inexpensive multi-LED dome lights. The product is well-described as a low-side PWM dimmer, and that's exactly what you get. For this to work you will need full access to the +12 volt and -12 volt feed from your power source AND the +12 volt and -12 volt line to you lights. If you only have access to just the power that is switched - this will not work for you.In my case, I had access to all wires for the lights. Be VERY careful to wire this with the power cut off, and triple-check your wiring before cutting the power back on. These dimmers have a miniature circuit inside that will not tolerate a wiring mistake ...it will burn up in seconds. Please TAKE YOUR TIME, and triple-check your work. I had excellent results the first time. The dimmer control smoothly rotates with even dimming throughout the full turn of the knob. Mine did not produce any flickering regardless of where I set it. I'm very pleased. Highly recommended.

works as described
I needed to replace a switch no longer working. The face plate was smaller than the what it had so no way to put in the screws. Ending up using the old face plate and that worked. The old one had 4 wires which matched the existing, although the black and white were reversed so be sure to check your wiring.

PWM Dimmer - Will work with most LEDs as well as low voltage Incandescent and Halogen bulbs
Pulse Width Modulation Dimmer - Will work with most LEDs as well as low voltage / low current Incandescent and Halogen bulbs. Good / Clear instructions. Easy installation. If you're installing in an RV, you need to dig in the wall a little bit to find your ground wire. Typically it is a white wire and positive is a dark color, many times black. I never will understand why they wire the 12v circuits in RVs as though they're wiring a 120v AC Circuit. The dial has got a Click On/Off function at the full counter clockwise rotation. Hardware included other than connectors for the wires themselves.
