Honestly, out of all the hides and hammocks both Sputniks are the most favoredTheyre easy to clean. once you figure out how to do it, clipping them to the cage is super easy. They feel cheap but once its in the cage hanging up they stay together really well.I also bring one out when i bring the rats to their play area or outside since they are soight and come apart it makes them ideal for carrying aroundVery cute as well!

I love these so much!! I got one but I want more! They are great for filling space in the cage. This is certainly big enough to fit all three of my rats, but they generally don’t like to sleep on top of each other yet (they are young) so one of my boys particularly loves this and it’s right in the front of my cage so he always greets me first when I check on them lolll. Also super easy to clean the 2 pieces come apart and you can take off the top piece and just have the bottom in there.

The ultimate hide for your small furry friend! It’s plastic so very easy to clean out. It can be hung from the top or flipped over to just stand alone. My babies looove their sputniks. The colors they come in are so fun but you can even switch it up to make different color combos and keep it interesting! I’ve tried to find these at a better price but usually end up with a very small space pod. These are the perfect size for adult rats. My girls love to pile in

Not seeing too many differences between the two besides the fact that the plastic is thinner and more flexible on this one compared to the Lixit dome. Not exactly a bad thing, especially since this one is (currently) cheaper. Very satisfied!

The description says it is " small" then it later states" XL" . As I have four darling girls, I wanted the XL. I was confused when I placed it in the crate today and I doubt the four of them would fit; three would be VERY cosy, not that they would mind. It seems that it is more of a comfortable fit for two. I'll see as they become more familiar with it. However, I will keep it.

4 stars only because the way it attaches to cages is pretty delicate. If you have male rats who insist on ALL cuddling together in one sputnik, you may find yourself with a broken sputnik.That being said, these things are versatile, so I retired the broken sputnik to the floor via flipping it upside down (like the product thumbnail) and they still love it to death, it just knocks over easily is all.
