Q: Can you throw this knife with no spin?

Yes. Good practice knives for the money. The shape is a little aggressive for no spin, but they have a nice feel to them. I can throw them with decent accuracy, close range, no spin. Nice for the price.

Q: What type of steel are these made from?

I believe these are stainless steel, not carbon, tool, or alloy. I don’t know what type (ferritic, austenitic, etc) or grade (310, 410, etc) of stainless steel they are, but they are well crafted and VERY sharp. We use these quite often and sharpen them after each use, but they’ve held up nicely.
