This is the most amazing thing! I have spent YEARS-decades-tripping over cords and even the rubber cord covers. NO MORE! This cord cover easily installs and securely sticks to the Berber carpet in my classroom. It can be walked over and even vacuumed over without moving. And you can EASILY cut it to the perfect size with just scissors. AND you get THREE (3) rolls of it! I highly recommend it! I will absolutely purchase again-IF I run out!**If you watch the video of the man installing it, you will see he is installing it on a "longer" carpet. It does eventually grip, but just takes more effort. This is not true with the Berber found in most offices and classrooms-it stuck immediately with little effort.

It works on office carpet. ( Commercial carpets are typically used in Doctors Offices or stores such as Walmart.Velcro won't work well on fluffy or "shag" as its too loose. Easy to cut with scissors.I would like to note that while you can easily move this to a new area, its quite loud when lifting up and pulls on the carpet, not enough to rip but enough to be worrysome. Have not had any issues in the 3 months I've had them.Edit: 2 years and no issues for me. I use it to protect speaker wire going across the carpet so that it’s not a tripping hazard. I have moved since my initial review, and I brought them with me, new location has the same low-rise commercial carpet, no issues. I will be buying more but in grey. You do need to run your hand across it to help it stick, this should be obvious as it IS Velcro.

Super easy to use and adjust as needed. Customize length easily using plain scissors. Velcro works well and keeps cords sturdy.

Didn't stick to either carpet I tried it on. In fact, it was so unsticky that I performed some experiments. First I cleaned a patch of carpet and tried again. Didn't stick. Then I took a metal grill-cleaning brush and lightly teased the nap of a carpet a bit. Still didn't stick. It also didn't stick to: flannel sheets, bath towels, kitchen towels, t-shirts, fuzzy socks, or any other textile I had to hand. The only thing it did stick to was...velcro. And not very well, at that. So if you have velcro carpets and want a cable cover that will barely stick itself down, this is the product for you. For the other 7,590,999,999 people in the world, well, this doesn't seem like a great purchase.

It probably works great on recommended carpet types, but I didn’t pay attention. It does not work AT ALL on the types of carpet you find in a typical house, and it very plainly explains that up front.So, I rate it highly for packaging, product quality, and truth in advertising. I’ll hold on to it, might have the right carpet or area rug in the future, and I think it would be useful.

I loved this product. With all the extension cords that we now for the students to recharge their computers, I needed something to keep everyone from tripping. These stick to the carpet with ease and come up easily when you need to move cords. After tripping several times, I bought them for my classroom as well as for a fellow teacher. Those big rubber cord covers just don’t work as these. Every school district should provide them to every teacher.

I used this in my home. From reading other reviews I learned that you could get it to attach to low-shag home carpet if you wiggle it a bit. It has attached well and covered up a wire that I was getting tired of tripping on.

Decent product for what you pay, but material used is too stiff and cheap. I took a chance since the price was affordable even though I knew my carpet wasn't berber type carpet. Just my luck this product is used in a low traffic area because it really doesn't stick too well otherwise. Still it hides the cords and looks decent enough.

I had 4 wires I needed to run to a meeting rooms table. This product worked very well at hiding these wires and preventing a trip hazard. I would highly recommend. There was some carpet it did not grip too well, but It was an old office. It grips just fine to most of the newer carpet flooring.

The cable cover is awesome I used it on some carpet tiles in my office and it sticks like glue.

Ich war etwas skeptisch. Musste Flachband Netzwerkkabel verlegen im Wohnzimmer mit Teppich. Aber es lief super einfach damit. Es liegt in einem Bereich wo der meiste Personenverkehr ist und zeigt bisher keine Schwächen. Super!

These only work on loop pile carpet, but, still saves using Gaff tape at 2 of my 4 shows and looks neat.
