Footprint 925 100-Heavy Duty Knife Blades

These were purchased as a cheap alternative to the Irwin blades I normally use.I use them for scrapping coralline algae off the rear of my marine tank every few weeks and maybe some jobs that would normally blunt the edge of the blade quickly.Don't get me wrong the Irwin blades are leaps and bounds above these as you can apply plenty of pressure to an Irwin blade and they just flex and don't break.But these are ideal for someone that doesn't abuse blades like I do on a daily basis.

I go through a lot of blades and these seem fine. Great price, decent storage/dispensing. they have some kind of oil on so they havent instantly gone rusty in the van. should stay rust free until you need to use them.Very pleased

Really happy with the quality and sharpness of these blades. I was worried whether these blades would be suitable as I had very thick carpet that needed trimming and was concerned that these blades would not be up to the job. I didn't need to worry the blades were sharp strong and durable cutting through the carpet like a hot knife going through butter!Made cutting the carpet a very simple task and cut the carpet with ease creating very neat and tidy cuts.Very happy and now have plenty of blades for any further diy jobs I have around the home.

Only slightly more than buying 10 blades, and I figure I can easily go through 10 blades in my life, so why not go all the way and get 100???Pretty heavy (as you might imagine) but the casing is solid and very safe. No way to spill these out, you can only release one blade at a time. Excellent design.

100 blades for the cost is phenominal, to anyone thinking that they are not sharp, they are believe me I nearly lost my finger with one when I was cutting something and not paying attention and it went to the bone, thats how sharp they are. They will fit into any standard stanley so are great value for the money, got over 90 left after renovating our home

A great general blade not sure how long they stay sharp but very good for general use
