One additional tip: Put the empty converter into the pen first, just as if it were an ink cartridge. Then, while the converter is still empty, twiddle the top until the plunger has gone down to the bottom - before putting the nib of the pen in the ink bottle. When you then twiddle the top in the other direction, you will suck up the ink into the container. It's a good idea to have a bit of absorbent kitchen paper of blotter handy so that you can wipe surplus ink off the end of the pen before using it and getting ink on your fingers. It's an even better idea to do all this when a helpful cat or small child is not around to assist you.

Does it fit all parker pens

Hi, any Parker fountain pen that uses standard Parker ink cartridges can use this instead. Hope this helps.

Deluxe converter was designed for use with Parker Sonnet and Dufold models, for Parker IM should use Parker standard converter and not deluxe model

Works just fine in that pen! Bought through Amazon from Court Supplies and they were very fast in response to e mail and although using US Mail the converter arrived in less than a week (NYC to MO). Had not used the twist version before but seems to work well. Not quite as much ink as with cartridge, per fill, but only marginally so. And obviously bottle of ink much cheaper than using cartridges. I was able to fill pulling ink through the nib although converter seems to recommend pulling ink directly from the bottle. Either way you have to use tissue to clean off excess ink and probably filling from bottle is better. I have both Mont Blanc, Schaeffer and Parker fountain pens and prefer the Mont Blanc bottles but the Parker ink so I fill old Mont Blanc bottles with the ink to have benefit of both. Mont Blanc tips to fill a reservoir with ink for dipping nib (or converter)and slants to make filling easy. But Parker ink has cleaner included and is a richer ink. Since buying my Parker 75 when new in 1965 I have used used a syringe to fill cartridge (saving on cost of ink and more convenient than having multiple cartridges around) so am pleased now to have a converter for the pen to make filling easier and eliminate need for cartridges. Can recommend this product.
