Thick and substantial, fits my monoprice banana plugs
I purchased several sets of standard-size, open-screw banana plugs from Monoprice for my home theater setup. Subwoofers have red and black outputs, Onkyo receiver has two subwoofer inputs...but that's meant for two subs, not for two plugs from one sub. So far, so good! Still in the setup phase, but the adapter cables feel substantial and not flimsy, the banana plugs connected snugly without being overtight (I didn't have to push hard to get a solid connection), and the RCA end plugs into the receiver perfectly. I'll update the review if there are any performance issues.

Very nicely made
This little adapter is very well made. I was impressed. Gold plating on the connector surfaces will prevent corrosion over time, increasing reliability. Now, few fancy speakers have attached cables with RCA plugs on them, but sometimes you have one such that you want to use in some kind of setup - like the Monsoon speakers I used for my overhead Atmos speakers - and these adapters let you use standard banana-plug cables with such things. Easier than soldering sockets on the RCA-equipped speaker. A handy, well made item.

Works just fine as a Banana Plug to RCA adapter
Amazon identifies this as a "frequently returned item". That's because most people look at it when it arrives and jump to the conclusion that the small banana side sockets are too small to take a full size banana plug. Instead, they think some kind of a pin goes in there. It's NOT true. A full sized banana plug goes in just fine so this thing works exactly as described.

Really solid product.
Thick wire with thick coating, but still flexible end connections feel sturdy too.
