The attachment has a serious of different plates to suit most routers. I’ve got a trend T5 (made by dewalt). If you have a dewalt router,it’s a certainty it’s compatible with your machine. It’s a marvellous tool,fits snugly to your track,guaranteed straight grooves,recesses and dados. I hope this helps.

Q: Will this fit 18v dewalt router

The unit comes with 5 adaptors, labelled: DW615 DW621 DW625 DW626 DNP612 and D262004 (plunge bases) So you would need to find out if any of the above routers have common bases to the 18V unit.

Q: Could someone confirm the gauge of the rod (i.e. diameter) and the distance between centres, please, to assess non-dewalt router compatibility. thanks

The rod diameter is 10mm the hole centres are 90mm all you need to do is change the adapter plate to suit your router ,you may need to modify it in some way
