Big and heavy and it was awkward to find somewhere to store it. That said, you need something solid for a large dog. Easy to use and has a washable rubber mat to place on the bed of the scale in case of dirty paws. The controller is a good size and has large, clear digits. It's also backlit and the unit is powered from the mains. I have no idea how accurate as you'd need to compare with others to know that. Very happy with it and worth the money. I took a look at the one star ratings and I don't recognise the negative points. In my opinion, disregard those. Build quality is excellent and I doubt it will break easily. Operation couldnt be easier, just plug the controller into the cable from the scale and then into the mains. Press Zero to ensure the scale is at zero before the dog gets on. Once the readout tells you the weight press Hold so that the reading stays the same until the unit is powered off, if you need. This is a very good scale that I'd recommend.
