Will Rohan succeed in his mission? Review KABHI KHUSHI KABHIE GHAM will re-write box-office history. Its massive star cast, historic opening and extra-ordinary merits will unquestionably make it one of the biggest grosser of all times. For the drought-stricken film industry, the film will prove to be khushi, more khushi and only khushi. --www.platform47.comThis film shines from start to finish, and runs the gamut of emotions. The cinematography, sets, and costumes are brilliant. The sparkling performances of six of India's leading actors alone makes the movie worth seeing, even if some might not feel comfortable with the deep sentimentality displayed by the leading men (women are fine with this; American men sometimes find it unnerving). Hrithik Roshan is pure eye candy for women of all ages, somehow oozing sweetness and innocent sexuality at the same time. The catchy song and dance number he performs with the lovely Kareena Kapoor at their 'prom,' "You Are My Soniya," has gotten regular replays in this household for weeks (even by my 79-year old mother, who will say, "I need a Soniya fix" - it really cheers her up!). The other musical numbers are very enjoyable, too, and never seem out of place or at odds with the flow of the film. Shahrukh Khan is adorable, as always, as the favorite son, and can hold his own in the dance numbers, too. Kajol gets to show her comic side, and was great at it! And knowing that the 'parents,' Amitabh and Jaya are a married couple in 'real life' just makes their interactions in the film that much better. Don't miss this wonderful movie! If you see just one Hindi movie, make it this one! --www.platform47.comThe premise of the movie is simple, but it is the storytelling that deserves the highest marks. Karan Johar once again proves his mettle in presenting an emotional saga in a beautiful manner. He brings out the best out of his actors as well.Amitabh Bachchan as the arrogant and strict father is convincing. Jaya Bachchan is good as always. Shahrukh Khan is in top form, watch out for his chemistry with Kajol. Kajol as a typical loud Punjabi girl fits the character to the tee. Hrithik Roshan has style, emotes and dances well, and definitely steals the hearts of youngsters. The movie is a complete family entertainer. --www.platform47.comThis film shines from start to finish, and runs the gamut of emotions. All the top Bollywood Stars in one film - though subtitles a bit sketchy
SRK, Kajol, Amitabh Buchan (and his real life wife), Hrithik Roshan all could carry a film on their own but all together in one film is amazing. (Also Rani Mukerji from previous films) The chemistry, classic story creates cinema gold refining on earlier films in which the cast were also together!

A film not to be missed.
As usual Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol burn the silver screen with their onscreen chemistry. I deeply regret they not being married in real life as I truly feel they were made for each. Since their first film together, I have enjoyed all their pairings and they have given me so much happiness and joy each time I watch their films. I do hope they come together in many more films and wish them every success for the future. I thank Karan Johar who is an excellent director and filmmaker for bringing together.

Really enjoyable film
I saw this film a few years ago at a friend's house. I'd never seen a Bollywood film before but found that I thoroughly enjoyed this one. I've just recently bought it for my mother for her birthday, as she's said she'd like to see more Bollywood films and I thought this would be a good place to start! :) My favourite part was seeing how they portrayed London - a lot less grey and rainy than in real life!

Modern Indian cinema film
I selected this rating, because I like Indian cinema and decided, that this film with his actors casting will represents status of modern indian cinema. My expectations about film were slightly higher, than what I actualy saw in the film, but actors play compensates for some scenario flaws like too much stereotipes in behaviour of indians in Engalnd and little bit more than usual Indian nationalism in some moments. Finally I can recommend this film to fans of Mr. Bachchan and Cajol, but the film is not too unforgettable.

Great start for new Bollywood lovers
I just am crazy about these stories and love the dancing. Yes, of course the acting is sometimes over the top. But, SRK is so charming and he makes you forget about all the other really crazy people dancing around in the world, just for a couple hours.
