698781 is the original float bowel gasket from briggs and stratton this is almost an exact match has one oval not the same but for this kit will work on it I already put my carburetor back together or i would have checked my plastic part for match i had an extra origal to compare kit gasket

Most of the parts in this rebuild kit do not fit.The float and needle parts are the most important parts and they do not fit.Also the o-ring for the jet is not correct.

My rider was surging low, and mid-range RPM. Bought this kit, as the number matched the kit number in my owner's manual. Not much in the kit fit my carburetor, AND two of the most important parts were wrong. All I was able to use was the bowl gasket, and the plastic extension housing. The main jet O-ring was the wrong thickness, and the seat O-ring was the wrong diameter AND thickness. The seat O-ring may have worked, when it was stretched - way over the seat - it thinned to look right, but I didn't want to stretch my luck as much as I had to stretch the O-ring. The main jet O-ring was just too fat, and it was impossible to install either jet (old or new) even with a lot of lubricant, and force applied. Luckily: my old O-rings were still pliable, and could be reused. And cleaning the jets, and ports fixed the surging.
