Cheap, functional and needed for daughters exams.it is now probably at the bottom of a draw or bag now.

There is an OFF button, but it doesn't turn the calculator off when I press it. I've looked all through the instructions and can't find anything that tells me how to actually turn it off, only that it turns off itself after 5-6 minutes of inactivity, so I presume that's the only way to turn it off. I would rather be able to turn it off when not needed so that I can save the battery.Other than that, though, the calculator works well and would be great for a child for school. I work as an exam invigilator and so many children don't have a scientific calculator when they need one for their GCSE exams, this would be ideal for anyone doing their exams. The school where I work only has a very limited number of scientific calculators for them to borrow, and none in the concessions rooms, where I usually work, so I want to keep this in my work bag so that I can help them out a bit.

Needed a calculator and this none was perfect. Reminds of the one inhad at school 35 years ago

The display is a bit small compared to the Casio I was used; but it does get the job done, which is the important part
