Purchased this pump as my garden keeps flooding, due to soak away and recent heavy rains. I had reservations due to the price but if like me you start to stress when it continually rains then this pump will give you peace of mind. Simple to use and quickly pumps away the excess water from the build up on paths and patio. Having read previous reviews I purchased a 25mm rigid hose to use with it and had no problems with water flow. The pump sucks the water up via a grid on the bottom of the pump and will clear water to a depth of 1mm. Highly recommend and wish I'd purchased sooner.

Purchased this pump to clear surface water from my drive, a problem I have had for years.When I get a heavy or continuous rainfall my drive floods with upto 3 inches of water, I do have a drain which runs into a soackaway , however this is not capable of clearing the level of water I have, and having a drive that is block paved and tarmac there is no grass to absorb any of the water.The pump is connected to a half inch garden hose leading to a drain, it took about 2 hours to clear the water. Its money well spent so extremely pleased with its performance.

Easy to operate and comes with a 10m cable, UK 3 pin plug, and a carry handle. Supply your own hose.It stands on 4mm high feet so it can't suck a puddle completely dry and it doesn't have auto switch-off.So you have to attend to this pump and have fairly quick access to the mains socket.Also you have to look after this pump by not storing it long time wet and unused.

An excellent product which would have been better presented with an 'idiots' guide as to the correct ways to attach a hosepipe.

Does what it says on the tin and has been very useful during my extension build. Hose connectors need to be stronger. Small connector broke and can’t get a replacement one from the supplier as their minimum order is £20.

Great pump....over the last few years my garden has gone from pooling water to now flooding this seems to happen once the rain has stopped im told its ground water as we must have a high water table... I'd previously bought a different pump which works well but only when I totally submerge it ..which was useless for my needs as the water in the garden is approx 3 inches deep..but this pump worked a treat .. I'm very impressed with it..

A little expensive but it does the job well.

My garden keeps flooding with the storms & heavy rain this clears all build up quickly, but it must have a hose that is solid as in the corrugated hose with wire through, otherwise a flat hose does not work it bends at the jubilee clip that attaches to the pump, even the water flow didn't keep it upright., and stops it's function. Changed to the corrugated hose worked absolutely perfectly without any intervention you learn by trial & error.
