Q: Anyone know what size potentiometer should be used on the input?

I used a 2k but it doesn’t really matter what value. When you use a potentiometer you are creating a voltage. If you were using it to convert a variable voltage you would use a two resistor voltage divider to lower the voltage into the rage of the board.
