Really enjoying the bed cover
Really enjoying the bed cover. It is durable and reliable to meet my needs, with the extra protection, my mind is at ease. Latching mechanism:Secures what's inside the bed from the outside elements and people. Ease of opening:The pull strap and gears make it every easy to open and close. Fit:It fit my 2025 Chevy Silverado - Note take off the lock protector from transit. Storage capacity:I have 90% access to my bed, a small amount is taken up by the trough but items do fit underneath. Ease of installation:Took about 2 hours to completely install.

Surprisingly good
Needed a cover for the bed of my new truck (GMC Sierra Denali), which was a first for me as my prior trucks had a shells. I take a lot of pride in my truck and wanted something solid. Did a lot of research and selected this one, mostly due to combination of features for the price compared to 'name brands.' Had a little bit of doubt, and a bit concerned about the reviews on installation. All of which turned out not to be true.First, the cover is really nice. Operates very easily, looks awesome and classy. I like the functionality of being able to open the cover w/o needing to open the tailgate. I also like that you can lock the sliding cover at any position. Very smooth and quiet. It comes with a pull-strap, but you don't really need it.Secondly, the installation was, overall, much easier than I was expecting. The instructions aren't the most detailed (likely translated from Chinese), but with some noodling you can figure it out pretty easily. I took my time, and still got it done in a couple hours by myself. Some reviews talked about odd parts and wrenches that were hard to assemble, but they must have improved the design as it was very straightforward.A few notes. The 'box' that the roll-up cover goes into does take up some space in the front of the bed. Can't be avoided, but just know that you'll 'lose' the front 14" or so on the top (open underneath). I suppose this like the tri-fold ones in that regard, but I like the ease of sliding it back/forth. The weatherstripping for the side rails were kinda wadded up at the ends from shipping, so took a bit to slide them into the channels (needed a blow dryer to soften one up). The drainage tubes are on the large side, which is not as discrete as I'd like. Must be to allow leaves, etc., to drain out? After initial install, there was a 1/4" gap between the closed cover and the tailgate. So I just loosened the clamps and slide the whole thing back and now fits fairly snug. Haven't test how weather-proof it is yet, as my stake cover pockets are open (for now).Very pleasantly surprised.

Good product, terrible instructions
After installation it seems to be a good product, although, more time needed to determine that.Installation was not easy. Mostly because of really bad instructions. You recieve three pieces of instructions without any guidance on order of these three. You have to start with assembling rails. This is where I feel that corners were cut. Picture of the product shows you completely different corners from what you get. Not assembling those at the factory saved them buck or two on labor and couple of inches on overall length of the shipping box. But that is we’re you will spend disproportionate amount of time putting it together. The rest wasn’t bad. Six very long clamp screws that you obviously needed to replace with even longer ones included , will leave you scratching your head and asking “what for?”Assembled cover opens less than one in the picture. Most likely, one cross bar could’ve been removed, but to do that after the installation you will need to remove rails and start over. Will wait with that for now. My canister was damaged in shipping and was bent. No word from seller on that. Had be creative to make it work. Canister has a piece of rubber that hands by design between the cabin and the truck bed. Seems as a good idea to deflect the rain. However, once you get over 60mph on a a hot day, rubber starts vibrating from the airflow and in the cabin sounds like loud rattling noise. At first I thought aluminum bars were rattling but these are sitting pretty firm in place. Once I realized it was the rubber strip and used scissors to trim it, noise stopped. You don’t need to cut it off completely. Just enough to make sure it doesn’t reach the cabin.Overall, cover looks good. Hope it will last few years. To the seller - how hard it is to make a YouTube video with instructions? It will make it so much better experience for us. And get those rail caps preassembled. It’s a shame that three types of screws, 10 or something on each side to put this thing together.

Bad Product
Bad product. Doesn't fit and no CS help.

Good cover
Technical writing needs work, there are a lot of assumptions you have to make when installing this cover. The videos are shown as the rails are completely installed. Need to redo the videos as if someone has never installed the bed cover at all.

Syneticusa Retractable Hard Tonneau Cover
I’m not sure if the seller up their game on the directions or if others just had a hard time figuring things out, but I thought the manual clearly explained and was easy to follow along. I was skeptical on the difficulty on assembling everything braised off older reviews, but this was a piece of cake so I hope that doesn’t lead anyone astray from purchasing this. It’s a good price compared to other products of the sort and seems to be great quality. I have had installed for a couple weeks now and it works great, can’t speak for long term use but I don’t see why this won’t hold up.The only thing I would suggest is assembling the rails that run from the front of the truck bed to the tailgate first before you get to far in the manual. Theirs a separate sheet from the manual that walks you through that process, but I didn’t realize that until I had already secured them to the main unit. I was still able to get the end caps on with it already assembled but would have been easier had I done that before securing it in.All in all, I think this is a great product and would refer it to anyone else.
