These are better than Northshore polyurethane because there's a soft lining inside to absorb liquid. The very thin fabric in the casing to cinch at waist is useless and I recommend 7/8" gross grain ribbon and a toggle. Otherwise, these are perfect to help "contain" any incontinence product leaks.

This product has been a lifesaver for me. Whether I am outside or lying down, it has 100% served its purpose. The quality of the product is very good; the inner surface is cotton-like and does not cause any discomfort, the outer surface is thick and definitely does not let any liquid through. Especially the stitching and elastic parts are done very professionally and with great care.God bless the makers; the product may seem expensive, but I have bought other products and was not satisfied with any of them. However, this product is truly great. It has put an end to the issue of bed and duvet getting wet at night. During the day, it also prevents the annoying appearance of liquid spilling from the fabric. I wanted to write a review after using the product for a while. I washed it several times in the machine, and it is still in good condition.

I defer to my husband (51 years and counting!), for whom these were bought.DH: Anxious about prostate surgery (TMI!) I wanted something to serve as a waterproof "cover up" under my boxers. Yes, these are "lined" with flimsy, soft, cotton, which might accommodate an ounce of pee, so using the term "diaper" is, frankly, an exercise in exaggeration.My data: I am fully 6' tall; I have a 42" waist and 44" hips; I weigh 215 pounds ("Yes, dear, I know I must lose some weight. thank you for being so patient in everything.") IF, I were to use this as a cover for true "incontinence garments" (yes, I use those), a) I would NOT have bought these and b) if I did I would have ordered XXL (if they make them).It is surprisingly STURDY. It has a "drawstring" on the front--but that is rather insubstantial--a whisp of lace like fabric. The leg gathers are NOT tight enough to contain any meaningful quantity of liquid--I don't need it to do such. The garment is actually longer in the leg than my boxers. It is not "blousy", but has sufficient space for my purpose. It suffices for my "one-time" special need--inexpensive and functional. While it is hardly exciting, it does transcend "cheap".

I've tried everything for an adult relative whom I care for. She can't control her bladder due to disease. She wears x-strength adult diapers and we added 2 mattress covers (waterproof). However, even with a bed Pad ON TOP of the sheet as well, she still had accidents at night. UNTIL NOW. I just happened on these 'shorts' made for exactly this issue. Broad smile on relatives face first morning. Sheets fully dry, no smell, and her feeling like her old self. I immediately put in an order for 2nd set and will likely wind up with 4 so we can have an easy wash/dry/wear cycle. DON'T HESITATE - THESE are fantastic. No sound, No plastic, very comfy.

I ordered the product for my grandmother. Unlike other products we tested the fabric feels softer yet strong enough to prevent any leakage.But since one of the main aspects is the prevention of leakage we wanted to test it overnight before giving a review…After using the product she reported that it was very soft to wear, did not feel uncomfortable and there was no leakage for the whole night!!Grandma is happy, we are happy.
