This is a great hard case with a soft, protective lining that keeps my AirPods Max safe from any potential damage. However, after using it for a few weeks, I noticed that it doesn't put the AirPods Max into sleep mode when stored in the case. Good case - this should have been supplied with the airpods max - instead of that stupid sleeve

Ok, so this is not the cheapest for a headphones case but in my opinion this is worth the investment when you've spend a fairly large amount of money on Air Pods Max. It's very sturdy and offers good protection, especially useful if you travel a lot and need to transport your headphones around. The magnets inside enable the AirPods Max to go into sleep mode to preserve the battery.

(I tried the help link on Amazon, but the manufacturer's web site can't be found, so...)Like I said: the case is good for protecting the headphones, but the magnets don't switch the headphones off. Even with them in the case and the magnets in position, I can see that the phones are still on.

Just what I needed for my new Apple Headphones

The case is exactly what it says it is.Everything arrived as expected.The outer shell is black and robust, and the inner lining is nice match for the headphones. The case has a very minor smell, but hardly anything to mention, as it will fade with time.The inner pocket is actually large enough to hold my AirPod Pro’s as well which is a lovely bonus.The zip that people mention lots is absolutely fine, just the expected amount of care is required, and the case, as you can see from photos is big enough to fit the original Apple case in as well.As for the magnets, I’m not sure if they work or don’t work, as I’ve not used it for long enough, but honestly I’m happy to keep using apple case within new case, as this is essentially bought as a travel case.
