This works. No more tumble drying for me. Possible game changer
OK so I am super mean. Why should the gas/electric companies have my well earned cash? I wanted an alternative to the tumble dryer for winter and am out at work during the day. As promised, my new laundry toy arrived yesterday - and I couldn't wait to use it.So far (alright I have only used it once!) it's looking like it might be a game changer. It's really easy to assemble - 1 minute max (although we haven't put the castors on it). It is quite large so be prepared to lose a bit of space. ****Update - I have used this many more times and I still find it effective. Works even better if you place the dryer near a sunny window during the day.The airer was loaded with washing* last night and a sheet draped over the top. Used the 4 hour timer (I can confirm it turned itself off after 4 hours). It was then left turned off overnight with clothes still on it in an unheated house. By morning, most of the washing was almost dry. A quick iron (no steam) this morning and everything was properly dry. As I am too mean to buy a cover, I am going to make a proper cover for the airer out of some old bedding - does it matter if the sides and top are different colours??Update - made the cover using old bedsheets and some velcro (can't be bothered with zip). Works brilliantly.Tips for using the airer:Do make sure you spin the clothes properly (where it is appropriate for the clothes). I used 1400 spin speed.Load the airer from bottom up as it can be tricky putting things underneath when you have a sleeve hanging on your head.Wash your clothes inside out and put them on the airer inside out to avoid potential marks, especially on black things/jeans.Make sure your clothes are straightened out before loading on the airer (also open up collars on shirts)Space out the clothes properly, if you overload it, the dryer will take ages!!!If you haven't bought the cover, put a sheet over the airer when it is turned on. It keeps the warm air in and makes the airer more effective.*I had a large wash load of adult sized clothing which included 6 polo shirts (with those thick collars), about 7 pairs of socks, a thick cotton jumper, couple of pyjama shorts and some assorted underwear, including bamboo shorts.

Heated clothes dryer
Very good, drys well and can take a reasonable amount of items to dry. One negative it is a bit flimsy you have to be careful when moving or opening/folding the dryer

Does the job
It does the job well, but I find it a bit difficult to fold for storing. Lightweight and perfect for drying one person's washing

I really like it...
It does the job. I would question just how much can be put on it. I can get a full 8kg wash of small things on it, or a smaller wash of bigger things. I chose not to get the cover for it after reading reviews about condensation. So I use a big sheet to cover it whilst it's on, window slightly open for air and a wee dehumidifier (the wee box type). Works a treat. Takes between 4-6 hours to dry things, but significantly cheaper than a tumble dryer. Takes up a little space and is easy to move and fold down for storage. Definitely recommend.

Garbage... Absolute Trash!
1. It barely gets warm enough to not be cold2. The cover doesn't cover the rack, and the sides of the flap don't seal3. The racks are too close, one layer is laying on the lower one4. The seller has a "strict returns policy" meaning of you're lucky you'll only be offered a replacement item....Literally took my money, receiped the item and gave me neither back!Amazon A-Z team also not helpful!Terrible and expensive experience!
