I first came across this HOUSE DAY 9-inch Folding Step Stool at a client’s house and was immediately impressed by how sturdy and practical it was. I ended up buying not just one, but two—one for my kitchen and another for the bathroom. It’s lightweight yet strong, folds away neatly, and doesn’t take up space. Most importantly, I no longer have to worry about my child struggling to reach the sink for handwashing or personal care. The non-slip surface gives extra peace of mind. A must-have in any home with kids—or even for adults who need that extra little boost!

This item is brilliant as I’m only short. This is very strong, I was sceptical when I ordered but gave it the benefit of the doubt which I’m glad I did. Told flat for easy storage

I have had a couple of these stools in the past, not necessarily the same manufacturer though (who knows?).The reason I bought this third one was because one I had been using occasionally for reaching high shelves for a couple of years, had inexplicably broken when I stood on it. No warning, just a big ol' split on the top as I put my weight on it. I am not modelesque thin but nor am I worryingly overweight, albeit the breakage did cause much hilarity in my household with the inevitable jokes about lockdown weight.So I got this one but expected it to feel basically the same as the other two, ie decent for occasional use but ultimately a limited lifespan.It's early days so I can't swear to its longevity yet but what I have noticed is, the plastic on the top feels thicker than the two seemingly identical stools from elsewhere. So it actually feels more capable of holding weight for a longer lifespan than the other two did. Fingers crossed.The colour is nice - I personally enjoy a bit of colour as opposed to beiges, whites, greys etc - but that is of course subjective.It's incredibly easy to use as you'd imagine. Just watch your fingers as you close it, but that's the nature of these things.On to the minor niggles. Well, it uses the same black anti-slip bottoms as one of my other stools on which annoyingly the black started to leave marks (albeit easy to wet wipe off) on a laminate floor - so much so, I put sellotape over them which somewhat defeated their purpose. I'm not sure if that was a fault of that one stool and if this one will evade that fate, but I wish they were white or something.The only other thing that might bug you from time to time is the fact that when it's ready for you to stand on, there's of course the hole in the surface on which you stand - bang in the middle, so you need to be careful with heels etc. All plastic folding stools like this are the same though I think, because the hole / gap is what allows the handle for folding ie it's part of the design.All in all, a good stool, and hopefully it'll stand the test of time. Not in my opinion as good as a non-foldable one but handy for space saving if you only expect to use it occasionally.

I bought a new wardrobe couldn’t reach the rail to hang clothes up. This wee step stool is brilliant saved me getting a step ladder out. I hang the clothes up fold the stool and set it into the wardrobe for next time. Well worth the money.

Awesome little steppy step .Got it for the shorties in my house who are now very happy that they can see what's in the top cupboards.It's like a whole new world to them !!

This is the second one bought, sturdy, foldable, space space-saving at an acceptable price.
