These scissors are very well made and look and feel like a premium product should. I love the gold accents, they look very nice!They fit my fingers nicely but if you have extra large hands or dexterity issues you may have a difficult time with these scissors.They're very sharp! I've easily cut braided fishing line, trimed flies and skirts and they serve as general purpose fishing scissors in my sling pack.Just beware that they are heavier than they look which I personally don't mind but they absolutely positively will not float if you drop them in the water so buy a zinger when you buy these just in-case!

I bought these scissors on a whim, and they have not disappointed. They are small, very well constructed, and very sharp. I use these scissors when working in tight areas, when fishing, or when my cuts need to be precise, such as cutting kinesiology tape for sports-related injuries.

Good but not worth the hype

The tips meet precisely in a very sharp point. If you're serious about fly tying, buy the best scissors you can find for detail work. You will be happy with these.

These scissors are very sharp. They can cut as scissors and when open the scissors are nifty box tape cutters and plastic bag cutters either as scissors or using one edge only. Cuts fine hair. Cuts thread. Fishing line? Yeah, cuts easily. The plastic point guard is handy when the scissors are tossed in a drawer so hands are not stabbed.Buy. You won't be disappointed unless you want larger scissors. These are fly fishing small scissors.

Some companies ignore customer service after a product is sold. Not Dr. Slick!! They offer top notch products at a fair price AND top notch customer service. Most of my tying tools are Dr. Slick and all of my future purchases will be Dr. Slick. Couldn't be happier with the company and their products.
