It's exactly the kind of pillow I was looking for and worth it.

Before buying this product, I used to have a three- or four-foot long body pillow that I used to sleep with at night. As a person with ADHD, having that old pillow around made it a suitable replacement for side-sleeping on top of another human being. Sadly, the passage of time rendered the stuffing useless and the fabric shell stained, and I acted quickly to get a proper dakimakura to cuddle with at night. With me at 5’4” and this pillow at 5’3”, I felt right at ease having extra legroom at night. Perhaps it would be worth my while if I invested in a fandom pillowcase to complement my new body pillow.

I never tried these type of Japanese pillows before, so I can't compare.I love this pillow. The pillow doesn't go flat. It keeps its shape and provides great support. I bought it just to hug into it and lay my leg over it. It has helped my lower back a lot. It feels really nice. Another extra item that will make it hard for you to get out of bed hehe.The pillow came with what it seemed to be a blood spot, but I just ignored it, and hopefully that was something else.The included pillow cover is very beautiful and soft.I wish the filling material was inside a mesh, so I could wash the pillow cover. Unfortunately you can't wash the pillow cover because when you open the zipper all you see is the filling material; and you can't take it out because it would never be the same shape then. Make sure you buy extra pillow covers.The pillow is not 20 inch wide, it is more like 16 inch wide overall.I will purchase again!I think is a bit expensive, but I would definitely recommend this pillow. Probably the best choice here at amazon.

First of all, this being my first body pillow surprised me as to how it came packaged, when you open it for the first time you MUST read the instructions before hand to avoid any issues in the future, it takes a bit to fully fluff.If you've never slept hugging something it feels odd and might take a bit to get used to but it felt neither too soft nor too hard, just the right amount.When sleeping with it you will notice that it feels very cool, this feels great after a hot day (do keep in mind you have to shower and let yourself dry before sleeping with it to prevent dirtying the pillow, grooming way before shower is a must).If for some reason you feel like it has too much stuffing you can just remove some via the zipper on the botton, just make sure to put it in a ziplock bag.Lastly, if you like me got it for the dakimakura covers, it's tricky depending on the cover's zipper length and keeping in mind the size of the cover.

Perfect texture, and fluffiness and size…. BUT the filling -_-. Horrible distribution. It stayed puffed up for 1 day and then the more I used it the more it became a lumpy pillow. Which is a shame because it is to die for. The softness. The support. The shape. The feel. All 10/10. But it’s soooooo lumpy. And I have texture issues. Of course I can’t return it. And even though it’s irksome, I’m still using it because my body NEEDS this pillow. If you need a body pillow with support that isn’t too much like most memory foams etc, this is it. Just be ready for the lumpssss

The pillow is very comfortable, I greatly enjoy hugging it and wrapping my body around it while in bed. During my use, the stuffing as concentrated on the two ends making hugging the middle somewhat less satisfying, but this is not a major issue as there is still a generally sufficient amount of stuffing to hug. Combined with getting a character cover for the pillow the cost is a bit of an investment, but I found it well worth it after consistent use.

I’m 79 years of age and this item helps me sleep and wake up with a lot less pain in my arms hands and back. Wish I’d have gotten one sooner. The quality of materials is easy to feel holds it shape really well and gives support for the entire night. Worth the extra dough.

This is easily the nicest pillow I’ve ever touched. I bit the bullet with the price and the risk, but it was totally worth it.Bought it for my dakimakura pillow case. Difficult to get it on though. Pillow itself is ridiculously soft and plush. I don’t know what kind of miracle stuffing they’ve got in this thing (I could probably just go read the product info again but lazy) it springs back to shape even if I’ve been laying on it for a while. It comes flat and vacuumed sealed, but once opened it immediately springs to life and you wouldn’t have guessed it was compressed in such a way.It is so cuddly, I love this thing. I’m really glad I spent the money- an investment imoI think I should include that I’m around 120lbs and my weight doesn’t seem to have permanently displaced the stuffing. But time will tell, so I’m not rating the durability
